Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is committed to partnering with patients
and their families to provide care that ministers not only to the
body, but also to the mind and spirit. That was true 50 years ago
when the community came together to build this hospital and it is
still true today.
But we are not content to rest on past
accomplishments. We are creating a vision for the next 25 years
that includes building the optimal healing environment that patients
deserve while providing the latest equipment and technology that
patients need. This $23.6 million dollar expansion is the largest in the hospital's
history; however, our vision cannot be realized without generous
support from the community we have served for over 50 years.
Toe River Project Access
Toe River Project Access (TRPA), established November of 2003,
was an initiative of the BRRH Foundation. The TRPA program helps
low-income, uninsured residents of Mitchell and Yancey Counties
gain access to medical, dental, vision and prescription assistance. Since its creation, TRPA has provided over $1.8 million in medical and dental care, and helped over 560 clients.
